VACANCY OF AYURVEDA FACULTY

Applications are invited for filing up the following posts at this Sansthan: 

1. Professor: – 3, Agad Tantra (ST-1), Shalakya Tantra (OBC-1), Shalya (OBC -1)

Pay scale-37,400-67,000+GP8700 NPA and admissible allowances as per Delhi Government instructions, Age Limit:Not exceeding 55 years, Experience: Total teaching experience of ten years in the concerned subject is necessary out of which there should be five years teaching experience as Reader/Associate professor.

2. Associate Professor/Reader:-3, Kaumarbhritya (OBC-01), Stree Roga & Prasuti Tantra (SC-01), Panchakarma (OBC-01)

Pay scale: 15,600-39,100+GP7600+NPA and admissible allowances as per Delhi Government instructions, Age Limit: Not exceeding 50 years, Experience: Total teaching experience of five years in the concerned subject as lecturer.

Basic educational qualification for Professor & Associate Professor/Reader:

Essential:1)A degree in Ayurveda from a University established by law or a statutory Board/Faculty/Examining Body of Indian Medicine or its equivalent as recognised under Indian medicine Central Council Act,1970; 2) A Post graduate qualification in the subject/specialty concerned included  in the schedule to Indian Medicine Central Council Act,1970.

Desirable:1. Patent/copy right obtained as individual/team, 2. Research work and publications in peer reviewed journals, 3. PhD.

Method of Application:

Willing candidates may apply with their bio-data in the prescribed Performa which may be downloaded from the website of the Sansthan www.cbpacs.com, with self attested copies of certificates at the above mentioned address latest by30th July, 2014 along with the non–refundable fee of Rs. 500/-for candidates of SC & ST category and Rs. 1,000/- for other candidates in the form of Bank Demand Draft in favour of Director, Ch. Brahm Prakash Ayurved Charak Sansthan, payable at Delhi.

Reservations:

1.   i.      Reservation of posts under various categories etc. shall be applicable as per Govt. rules & Policy
2. Candidates claiming SC/ST/OBC/ any other reservation benefits must produce valid certificate.
3. If the suitable candidate is not found for reserved category post, the posts will be filled on contract basis from UR category initially for a period of 11 months. After expiry of the period, the post will be re-advertised and the incumbent engaged on contract basis will have to apply again along with fresh candidates. 

Selection Procedures:

1. Written Test followed by interview: written test will be conducted for the posts of Associate Professor/Reader, if the applicants are more. Only the candidates shortlisted on the basis of the merit of the written test will be considered for the interview by the dully constituted Selection Committee.
2. Candidates applying for the post of Professor and Associate Professor/Reader may be asked to make a Power Point Presentation for five minutes about their professional profile, and vision in their respective fields in addition to the interview.
3. Dates for the written test/interview for different departments will be intimated separately through public notice, on website, email etc.

Age Relaxation:

1. As per Govt rules & Policy.
2. In respect of Faculty/Staff already working in the Sansthan, age relaxation will be given as per Sansthan policy in force.

Miscellaneous:

1. Incomplete application (incomplete/illegibly filled forms) or applications not having copies of essential certificates/documents in support of their details given in the form) shall be summarily rejected.
2. The decision of the Sansthan regarding selection of the candidates shall be final and binding.
3. 2nd AC train fare or actual fare, whichever is less, will be paid to the eligible candidates for interview only for the post of Professor, 3rd AC train fare will be paid to eligible candidates for interview applying for posts of Associate Professor/Reader.
4. The Sansthan reserve the right to amend or modify any of the eligibility conditions or cancel the notification of the vacancies without assigning any reasons.
